Who we are

Chesham Meeting is one of some 500 Quaker groups gathering regularly for worship as part of Britain Yearly Meeting. Its members are active at area and national levels of Quaker organisation, as well as in the life of Chesham.

For a Quaker, religion is not an external activity, concerning a special 'holy' part of the self. It is an openness to the world in the here and now with the whole of the self.
Harvey Gillman, 1988

PLEASE NOTE: While our building work is in progress, during August and September 2017, our Meeting for Worship remains Sunday 10.45 but has a temporary venue: we have hired a room from the Buckinghamshire Mind charity at Sun House, 32 Church St, Chesham HP5 1HU (opposite its junction with Bury Lane).
