Progress Report on Jordans Meeting House Project
We are delighted to report that the work of rebuilding the Meeting House is well under way, with excellent progress being made each month. The roof tiling on the new extension has now been completed, and some slipped tiles on the old Meeting House roof have been relaid. Internal partition walls and upper storey floors are in place. The first fix of plumbing and cabling routes is nearly finished, and prototype central heating radiators have been installed for us to approve. A conduit has been laid from Welders Lane to carry new telephone cables to the site.
Funds pledged and received for the Appeal now stand at about £470,000. Donations are continuing to be made, and we still aim to reach the target of £500,000.
