Week of Prayer for World Peace

Friends House, 2pm to 6pm, Sunday 19 October 2008

The Society of Friends will host the interfaith service during the Week of Prayer for World Peace, on Sunday 19 October 2008. Representatives from many faith traditions will be there to give a brief prayer or reading. After the readings an award is given to an organisation that has excelled in some aspect of peace work. The event closes with some time for socialising over tea and refreshments.

The interfaith service is a great opportunity to meet and share experiences with people from many backgrounds and traditions.

More information about the event will be posted as it becomes available, later in the year. Put the date in your diary now if you plan to attend.
